Paşa İrmek was born in Hilvan, a district of Urfa, and currently resides in Urfa.

He holds a degree in Agricultural Engineering but left his studies in Sociology. He has been a founding member and leader of various platforms and associations. His photography work focuses on social, realistic, and socially conscious themes. In addition to this, he captures street and candid moments using an analog camera. He has closely followed the Syrian war and the subsequent migration wave. He is a member of the 4RO PHOTOS collective group and also participates in the work of the Red Photo platform. His work has been featured in numerous national exhibitions and he has held solo exhibitions in prominent international venues. His photographs have been published in various newspapers, magazines, and platforms.
